04.11.08 MedICUs v5.3.16

  • Feature: 'My Notes' has been created and is accessible from any screen in MedICUs. Use it to note down/leave messages for colleagues or simple reminders for missing pieces of data that can be returned to and input at a later date. My Notes > View All Notes.

  • Feature: ICNARC export > Postcode validation on export.

  • Bug Fix: Residence post discharge visibility issue corrected.

  • Change: Multiple deletion of records is possible when logged in as Mela.

  • Change: ICNARC DVR no longer includes non-admissions.

  • Feature: LOS based on 'ready for discharge date and time' is an option in super query.

  • Feature: New preference item > Patient > Show Transfer for non acute discharges. This makes the transfer info fields appear when non-acute hospital is selected in hospital housing location.

  • Bug Fix: Postcode appears for all records in the HTML document.

  • Feature: CCMDS > Manual Care Days > A check is in place to ensure individual care days are not greater than the total LOS.

  • Feature: CCMDS > Manual Care Days > A check is in place to ensure  advanced and basic respiratory or cardiac days can not be greater than the total LOS.

  • Feature: Extubation duration calculation is available for customised interventions.

  • Feature: Advanced CCMDS export now allows selection between dd-mm-yyyy & yyyy-mm-dd date formats.

  • Change: Super Report > Organ support summary - CCMDS > The date range is now based on assessment dates rather than admission dates. GI is now visible also.

  • Change: An alert appears if GCS data fields are only part complete. They must be fully filled in or blank.

  • Feature: Preferences > In multi-unit data files its possible to use the same consultant and ref dr lists.

  • Bug fix: SuperReport > 'Number of patients on ICU at each day' report has been updated.

  • Change: CCMDS DVR now highlights 'Discharged date'.

  • Change: ICNARC DVR & CCMDS DVR now highlight 'Missing care level days'.

  • Change: ICNARC DVR > When EPHYS = Yes and CCMDS Care Level doesn't have a value 'LEVA' is marked as missing on the DVR.

  • Bug Fix: Date range saving issue resolved in server versions.

  • Change: SuperReports > CCMDS Summary > End dates for non-discharged patients where appearing as 01/01/1999.

  • Change: SuperReports > Notes > The field 'days in unit' is now active.

  • Change: Preferences > File > Preferences > Update score button now works.

  • Bug Fix: Discharge > There was a visibility issue with these fields, ultimate hospital LOS & hospital LOS.

  • Bug fix: Date of last critical care visit prior to this admission no longer zeros out after the last value is entered.

  • Feature: The Organ support summaries no longer display the days section when records added using the 'Manual no daily' CCMDS option are in the selection.

  • Change: Assessments > Blood pressure validation messages have been updated.

  • Change: The Infection tab now appears when 'Evidence available to abstract physiology data' is set to NO. It had previously only appeared when set to YES.

  • Bug Fix: Comments to ICNARC no longer duplicates the last character.

  • Change: Level of care received in first 24 hours is defaulted from the interventions tab into the field on page 3. This only happens when CCMDS is collected using either Manual with daily or Automatic..

  • Bug Fix: ICNARC export - ready for discharge date and death date issue corrected.  If using v5.2.22 please contact us to upgrade.

 

15.01.08 MedICUs v5.2.22

  • Feature: New preference item on the assessment tab,  Default blood lactate missing.

  • Feature: CCMDS update for Level 0 days

  • Change: File > Preferences > File > Update care days and organs support.  If a multi-unit hospital, this option only applies to the unit that's logged in.

  • Bug Fix: Infections page now displays all fields when a patient has been in unit for 48 hours rather than 48 hours and 30mins.

  • Change: ICNARC export > EDEP now exports the value 'D'  correctly.

  • Bug Fix: DVR - 'ADMISSION - Transferring unit admission number' no longer appears in the DVR when the other fields have been completed.
